Fine or easily weighed-down hair: Begin with a small amount on the mid-lengths and ends. Rinse thoroughly before deciding whether more is needed.

Dry, curly, textured, or damaged hair: Apply more generously in sections, including the scalp when desired.

Quick conditioning: Leave on for 5–15 minutes, then rinse.

Deeper treatment: Apply before shampooing, leave on longer or overnight, and cleanse as usual.
